Do the sample, documents and commodity conclusion correspond?
Checking a report begins with identifying exactly which goods were examined. The assignment name, sample labeling, photographs and documents must link the examination to a specific shipment item. If a product series is described, establish which variant was actually presented and why the result applies to it.
Separately compare properties established directly through examination with information taken from documentation. A measured sample parameter, a value in a general catalog and a party's statement have different origins. The report must make each source's role clear.
- Check the object's identifying characteristics across the assignment, description and annexes.
- Check which properties were actually examined and by which method.
- Identify information accepted from documents or as assumptions.
- Compare the findings with the characteristics used in the classification conclusion.
If the result is extended to several item numbers or an entire batch, the basis for doing so is checked. One examined sample does not automatically describe every variant. Object homogeneity, batch composition and differences relevant to the question matter.
Frame comments in terms of their effect on the conclusion: which property lacks substantiation, which document concerns another model and which reasoning step needs explanation. Disagreement with the final code is not itself a methodological comment. A review provides verifiable grounds and analytical limitations while preserving the separate roles of legal assessment and the official customs procedure.
